favorite:

Sani-Derm

Wear this clear film for about 4-5 days—perfect! After that, no further action is needed. It’s water-resistant for shower, but be careful around the edges.

If it peels or gets wet underneath, remove it and gently wash the area with non-fragrant soap, then follow the steps below.

Naked:

The Old Fashioned way...

If you need to remove the Sani-Derm, no worries! Just wash gently with lukewarm water and a mild, non-fragrant soap like Dial, Ivory, or Dove two to three times a day. Blot with a clean or paper towel and apply a small amount of moisturizer once dry.

Moisturizer

don't overdo it.

After your freshly washed tattoo is completely dry (like 2mins after washing), Soothe with a simple and ordinary amount of any basic white healing lotion. Some people with extremely dry skin like to use an ointment the first two or three days~ If you do this, definitely switch to lotion after day three. Your skin needs to breathe! Your goal is normal SOFT- as in NOT SOGGY/MOIST.

stop everything

One week, two tops!

Tattoos typically need one week of aftercare, while areas like feet and hands may take longer. Generally, two weeks of aftercare is the maximum recommended. Most bodies heal well with minimal care. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to reach out for assistance.
